Welcome to my website!
First things first, THANK YOU -- the wonderful constituents of the 26th legislative district -- for giving me the honor to represent YOU in the Maryland General Assembly! I want you to know that I do not take this lightly. I wholeheartedly understand the responsibilities placed upon me as your representative. It is an honor for me to represent you. In my capacity as your Delegate, I am able to join with you in strengthening our community. In addition, due to your support, I am a part of the legislative process that allows me to be YOUR voice in Annapolis. Together, we can face whatever challenges are ahead and work to turn those challenges into opportunities.
All parents – mothers and fathers – want the best for their children. It is in this spirit which fuels and energizes me each and every day as I perform my duties as a member of the House of Delegates.
As a mother, I want to do my part to ensure that the future of not only my children, but your children, your children's children is a fruitful one. I want the children of our county and state and their families to feel safe in their neighborhoods and to know that the education system is above par.
As many of you may know, with the ongoing projects such as National Harbor and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, our district is progressing economically. With your welcomed input, together we can continue to spur economic development within the county and our district.
As a life-long resident of the district, I know where we have been. We're off to a great start, but as we all know there is much more to be done. It is my commitment to you that I will continue to represent and serve you to the best of my ability in Annapolis.
Join a mother fighting for the best quality of life for our children!

I am your District 26 Delegate in Annapolis. First let me say how appreciative I am to have the honor of representing you in the Maryland General Assembly.
I am a life-long resident of the District, and a proud product of the Prince George’s County Public Schools. I’ve spent the better part of my life being active politically, civically, and in the labor movement. In every arena, I have fought for the issues that mattered most to my community and to working families.
With the new Woodrow Wilson bridge and the growth of National Harbor, parts of our district are definitely progressing economically. However, I want to make sure that growth and prosperity extends to throughout the district, throughout the County and throughout the State. In my time in office, I have fought for:
- Providing Paid Family Medical Leave
- Expanding Protections for Injured Workers
- Increased Funding for Prince George’s County Schools
